Distance Requirement: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility in Weirton, WV is seeking a skilled Travel X‑Ray Technologist for a 13‑week assignment. This role offers a consistent 4×10 day/evening schedule and the opportunity to join a supportive imaging team serving a steady patient population.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent X‑ray experience
Active ARRT (R)
Current BLS
West Virginia Radiologic Technologist License
Permanent residence 50+ miles from the facility (strict requirement)

Key Responsibilities

Perform high‑quality diagnostic radiographic exams following department protocols
Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image optimization
Support day/evening workflow across outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings
Maintain accurate documentation and timely entry of imaging records
Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and providers to ensure efficient patient care
