Description

🏥 Position Overview

Role: RN – Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery
Shift: Night Shift (3x12 Hours)
Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

📅 Schedule & Work Details

3x12-hour night shifts (may require 4x12 occasionally)
Weekends required
No on-call
Floating required (if needed)
❌ Block scheduling not available
❌ No local candidates (must live outside 50-mile radius)

✅ Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
RN License: North Carolina or Compact State

Certifications (Required):

BLS
NRP
ACLS (must be within last 6 months)
CPI (required before start date)

💼 Experience

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
Meditech experience preferred (training available onsite)

👶 Unit Details

10-bed Obstetrics unit
Patient ratio varies:
- 1:1 (active labor)
- Up to 1:4 (depending on stage)

🩺 Key Responsibilities

Provide direct care to obstetrical patients
Perform assessments & administer medications
Carry out provider orders and evaluate outcomes
Document patient care accurately
Collaborate with the healthcare team
Follow hospital policies & accreditation standards
