PACU # of beds SADU 8 Recovery/PACU 10 Ratios SADU 2:1 2:1 and 1:1 at times Required Certifications ACLS, BLS, PALS Common diagnoses/Types of patients Ortho issues, general surgery, GYN, ENT- outpatient Experience or 'Must have' skills Team focused, positive & competent in patient care, prefers candidates with Same Day Surgery experience as teams do both pre & post care Charge Nurse/House Supervisor We have 3 that rotate- 1 in SADU 1 in PACU daily Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios yes 1 full time EMR EPIC Shifts & Scheduling 9a-730p, with call Holiday Requirement Occasional Is there a call or standby requirement? Yes, 3 weeknight call shifts (730p-7a (off on day following) per month and one 24hr weekend per month Floating Requirements Occasionally as helping hands Scrub Color/Dress Code We provide scrubs for shift Unit/Department specific orientation Yes- assessed based on RN needs & experience Additional Notes Great positive work environment
