• Unit Type: Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Beds: 15
• Total Staff: 18
• Patient Capacity: 15 patients
• Patient Ratios: 5:1 (max 6:1)
• EMR: Meditech
• Medication System: Pyxis
• Equipment: Vital signs machines, transfer equipment (Hoyer lift, sliding boards), EKG, bladder scanner, etc.

Staffing Model

• Day Shift:
  • 1 Charge RN (full patient load)
  • 2 RNs
  • 1 CNA
• Night Shift:
  • 1 Charge RN (full patient load)
  • 2 RNs
  • 1 CNA

Position Overview

This role supports a busy inpatient rehab unit focused on mobility, functional recovery, and safe patient transfers. Nurses will manage a stable patient load, perform routine rehab‑related procedures, and collaborate closely with a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have:

• Active RN License
• BLS certification
• Strong transfer‑training skills
• EMR proficiency

Preferred Experience

(Not required but highly valued)

• Inpatient rehab experience
• Rehab scoring documentation experience

• Professional, clean attire expected

Unit Policies & Standards

• Bedside report / handoff
• Hourly rounding
• Bed alarm activation required

Weekends & On‑Call

• Every other weekend + holidays
• On‑call is rare; only used when overall hospital census is low
