Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (Endoscopy)

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4x9 hour shifts
- Shift times vary: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Every 3rd weekend and call requirements depend on skill level
Start Date: ASAP

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy nursing experience

Licensure & Certifications

Valid Ohio RN License
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required for all RNs except Labor & Delivery
Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM) but primarily BLS and ACLS are mandatory for this role

Required Qualifications & Compliance

Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy nursing experience, with Endoscopy experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
Fingerprinting is generally not required unless working in specific units (NICU, Pediatrics, Home Care, Hospice, Pharmacy Techs, Pain Management Clinics)
Candidates must be prepared for possible weekend and call shifts based on skill level

This position is ideal for experienced Endoscopy RNs licensed in Ohio who are comfortable with a 4x9 day shift schedule and meet the comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
