Travel Cath Lab Technologist – Houston Healthcare Conroe

Total Gross Pay: $2,616.00 Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (Monday–Friday) Call: Rotating after‑hours and weekend call Location: Medical Center Blvd, Conroe, TX Department: Cath Lab – 2nd Floor, Building 504

About the Unit

Cath Labs: 4 dedicated labs + 1 hybrid lab
Staffing: 4 CV Technologists
Hours of Operation:
- Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- After hours & weekends: On‑call coverage
Equipment: Philips and GE Cath Lab systems
EMR: Not applicable

Position Overview

This role supports a high‑volume Cath Lab performing cardiac, electrophysiology, and peripheral angiography procedures. The technologist will work closely with cardiologists and the CV team to ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality imaging and procedural support.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have:

Certified Radiology Technologist
BLS certification
ACLS certification

Preferred Experience

(Not required but highly valued)

1–2 years of Cath Lab CV Tech experience
Strong procedural competency in cardiac and vascular imaging

Typical Responsibilities

Assisting with:
- Cardiac catheterization
- Electrophysiology procedures
- Peripheral angiography
Operating Philips/GE Cath Lab equipment
Supporting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Maintaining sterile technique and safety standards
