Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)


Job Description

Seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a travel assignment. The position requires working night shifts with a start date as soon as possible.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Alabama
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system

Additional Information

  • Submissions missing any required certifications will be rejected.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Summary

This is a night shift travel RN position in Labor & Delivery requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and specific certifications. Candidates must be prepared to work 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week and have Cerner EMR experience.
