Description

Position: Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Unit (MSU)

Setting: 20-bed Med-Surg Unit caring for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients

Staffing Ratios:

Non-COVID: typically 4:1 (max 5:1)
COVID: typically 2:1 (max 3:1)

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA)

Experience:

Minimum 3 years Med-Surg experience
Minimum 1 year pediatric experience
Must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients

Shift: 12-hour night shifts (flexibility required for other shifts, weekends, and holidays)

Additional Duties:

May assist with Flu Immunization clinics as needed
Attendance at staff meetings is expected
