Description

Job Title / Type

ICU/CVICU Travel Nurse – Floating (CICU/CVICU/Telemetry)

Shift & Schedule

Night Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
- Hours: 19:00 – 07:30
Scheduling Options:
- Every other weekend
- Can work Fri–Sun or a 6-on/8-off rotation
Holidays: Must work at least 50% of holidays, including Memorial Day

Unit & Patient Load

Units: CICU, CVICU, ICU Cluster, Med-Surg (MS), MS/Telemetry
Patient Ratio: 1:4 (highest acuity)
Beds: 18-bed CICU/CVICU
Specialty Equipment: Used for high-acuity patients

Qualifications & Certifications

Required: ACLS, BLS, NIH (Neuro)
Experience:
- 2 years ICU experience or
- 1 year Level 1 CTICU experience
Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted

Physical & Work Demands

Active Role: Must ambulate, reach, and move objects >20 lbs
Patient Exposure: Contact with potentially contagious patients
Facility: 24/7 healthcare facility
Other Requirements:
- Rotating shifts
- Work during inclement weather
