Description

Shift & Schedule

Shift: Night
Hours: 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
Block Scheduling Options:
- 6 on / 8 off
- Every weekend (Fri-Sun)
Holiday Requirement: Must work 50% of holidays
Floating: Required

Unit & Patient Care

Unit: 18-bed CICU / CVICU
Floating Units: ICU Cluster and MS/MS/Tele
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
Patient Acuity: Highest acuity patients cared for by core staff
Special Requirements: Use of specialty equipment

Certifications & Experience

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
Experience:
- 2 years ICU experience or
- 1 year Level 1 CTICU experience
Traveler Consideration: First-time travelers are accepted

Physical & Work Environment

Activity Level: Very active, requires:
- Walking/ambulating
- Reaching and moving objects ≥20 lbs
Exposure: Contact with patients with contagious illnesses
Facility: Open 24/7, 365 days a year
Shift & Weather: Rotating shifts, holidays, and work during inclement weather
