Position Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing facility on a 13-week contract. This role offers a guaranteed 30 hours per week with variable shift scheduling. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering effective physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
• Collaborate with the therapy team and nursing staff to support patient care
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and rehabilitation standards

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum experience required: Less than 1 year (newer PTAs welcome)

Licensure

• Active state PTA license required prior to assignment start

Certifications

• All standard PTA-related certifications as required by state regulations
