Position Overview

A Long Term Care facility is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time contract assignment. This role requires flexibility with rotating shifts and the ability to work consecutive weekends as needed. A valid Hawaii LPN license is required prior to the start of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to LTC residents
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state and facility guidelines
Support residents with ADLs and chronic condition management
Monitor patient status, document care, and report changes promptly
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and LTC care standards

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, preferably in Long Term Care

Licensure

Active Hawaii LPN License required prior to assignment start

Certifications

(As required by role and state regulations; may vary based on assignment needs)

BLS – Required
Additional certifications listed but not universally required for LTC roles may include:
ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPI, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS, STABLE, ASLS, among others

Additional Notes

Holiday Coverage Required
Holiday pay is only applied when a shift begins on the holiday
Bilingual not required
