                                    RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST

DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: General Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) – Level 1 Trauma Center

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Four 10-hour shifts
• Shift Time: 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Every third weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage as needed

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
• Connecticut State Radiographer License – Required
• Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred
• Operating Room (OR) radiology experience across multiple specialties preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and trauma imaging
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity trauma environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to patient safety and quality imaging standards
