RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST
DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: General Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) – Level 1 Trauma Center
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Shift Time: 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Every third weekend rotation required
- Holiday coverage as needed
Requirements:
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
- Connecticut State Radiographer License – Required
- Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred
- Operating Room (OR) radiology experience across multiple specialties preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and trauma imaging
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity trauma environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to patient safety and quality imaging standards
