RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST

DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: General Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) – Level 1 Trauma Center

Schedule:

40 hours per week
Four 10-hour shifts
Shift Time: 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Every third weekend rotation required
Holiday coverage as needed

Requirements:

ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
Connecticut State Radiographer License – Required
Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred
Operating Room (OR) radiology experience across multiple specialties preferred
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and trauma imaging
Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity trauma environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to patient safety and quality imaging standards
