Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with Electrophysiology (EP) experience to assist physicians in a busy cardiac catheterization lab. The role involves scrubbing and documenting cases, stocking rooms, monitoring and circulating during EP procedures, and using EP recording systems.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist (CI) verification (ARRT)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Valid West Virginia Radiologic Technologist license (WVRT)
• Acceptable certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), ARRT (VI)
• Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI devices
• Experience with electrophysiology procedures including PVC, PT, cryo or transeptal ablations, laser lead extractions, and device work
• Proficient with EP recording systems and equipment such as Toshiba, Carto, Abbott

Work Schedule & Call Requirements

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (day or afternoon shifts)
• On-call hours from 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Call coverage required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Floating limited to Cath Lab and EP areas only

Additional Information

• Unit has 3 Cath Labs with an average of 15-18 cases per day
• Orientation specific to unit provided
• OR scrubs provided daily
• Must be able to work collaboratively with travel teams if applicable

Specialty Experience

• Prior experience in Cath Lab with EP procedures required
• Experience with advanced cardiac support devices and EP procedures is essential

• Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility for submission eligibility
