ND Global Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg (M/S) overnight assignment at a hospital in Sigourney, IA. In this critical role, you will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patients receive compassionate, safe, and effective treatment.

Leverage your Med/Surg and ER expertise to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working alongside skilled nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams. This assignment offers a focused weekday schedule, professional growth, and the opportunity to enhance your clinical skills.

Assignment Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP if possible
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour overnight (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: The three shifts would be Monday through Friday, no Saturdays or Sundays.  
• Orientation: First shift is a day shift for smooth onboarding

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg patients, ensuring individualized attention and safety
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments accurately according to hospital protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes or emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress, and interventions
• Ensure patient comfort, adherence to hospital policies, and overall safety
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive patient care environment

Qualifications:

• Recent Med/Surg and Emergency Room (ER) experience required
• Active RN license in Iowa or eligible for Iowa licensure
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
