Position: Dental Hygienist – Corrections (Float)
Schedule: Days
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Contract Length: 1 year (ongoing; no end date)
Start Date: May 11, 2026
Setting / Location:
- Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS)
- Floating between multiple facilities:
- OCC & NSP (Omaha)
- TSCI (Tecumseh)
- Typical week: 2 days Omaha, 2 days Lincoln, 1 day Tecumseh
Pay:
- $60/hr base
- +$5/hr for shifts worked in Lincoln and Tecumseh
- Long‑term assignment (previous placement exceeded 1 year)
Requirements:
- Active license (verification required)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience
Orientation:
- 2 weeks in Lincoln
- Includes central office, staff training academy, and on‑the‑job training
Assignment continues as long as there is state need
