·         Number of Beds – 5 ORs 3 open and 2 Hybrids

·         Number of Staff –  15

·         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift – RN, CST, AT, PCT

o    Night Shift – on call

·         Patient Ratios – 1:1

·         Type of equipment - OR

·         EMR -  Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·         CST for scrub tech

·         RN license for nurses

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·          CNOR for nurses

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·         CABG, AVR, MVR, Aortic replacements, Vascular procedures, Heart transplants

Best personality Fit:

·         HCA cuture

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

ACLS, BLS

·   

Floating Area(s):

·         Spine OR

Dress Code:

·         Scrub Color/Attire -  Provided for OR staff

 

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

·         Protocol for on call is 45 minutes response time measured from phone call to clocking into the unit.

 

Weekends and On call(if any)

·         Weekends and nights covered by call shifts.
