<p><strong>Title:</strong> Locum Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Rheumatology<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Portland, OR<br /><strong>Start Date:</strong> June 18, 2026<br /><strong>Duration:</strong> Ongoing<br /><strong>Position Type:</strong> Locum Tenens</p><h3><strong>Job Overview</strong></h3><p>We are seeking a dedicated NP or PA with Rheumatology experience to provide full-time outpatient coverage at a clinic located within the Providence Portland Medical Center campus.</p><h3><strong>Schedule</strong></h3><ul><li>Monday – Friday</li><li>8:00 AM – 5:00 PM</li><li>1-hour lunch break (12–1 PM)</li><li>40 hours/week (8-hour guaranteed shifts)</li><li>No call required</li></ul><h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Provide direct patient care for Rheumatology patients</li><li>Manage follow-ups and treatment plans</li><li>Handle patient communications and messages via EMR (Epic)</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Active OR license (or willing to obtain)</li><li>Board Certified NP or PA</li><li>BLS Certification (required)</li><li>Minimum 1+ year Rheumatology experience</li><li>Ability to complete credentialing (approx. 90 days)</li></ul><h3><strong>Practice Details</strong></h3><ul><li>Outpatient clinic setting (hospital-based department)</li><li>EMR: Epic</li><li>Patients per shift: ~15</li><li>No admissions or rounding required</li></ul>
