Position Specific Details

Echo Tech – Cardiac Stress Lab (NICU to Geriatric Population)

LOCAL CANDIDATES ACCEPTED

Advanced Arrhythmia Exam NOT required

Experience in pediatrics, TEE, Stress TTE, Definity, and bubble studies required

Minimum of one year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer required

EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred

PACS experience preferred

Licensure & Certifications: RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required, BLS required

Schedule: 8-Hr. Evenings, 2:30p–10:30p

Call: 1–2 days per week and every 4th weekend

Unit Specific Details

Cardiac Stress Lab

Patient Population: NICU babies through geriatrics

Studies per Shift: 7–8

Skill Set: Ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams including TTE, TEE,

and stress echo studies; strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and exam procedures; experience

preparing and monitoring patients before and during procedures; ability to utilize EMR to review

patient information and document critical findings

Equipment: Testing modalities include Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE),

Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), and Cardiac Stress testing
