Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care. Ensures effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team while identifying and resolving variances from patient goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Identify care gaps and implement appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Michigan State Board
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills
• Ability to perform a wide range of nursing duties
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
