Must Have Skills/Experience: Must have CVOR and Vascular OR experience - Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with hospital policy/procedure, all nursing division standards of practice, hospital, community, national standards and regulatory agency requirements. Completes patient assessment and develops plan of care in collaboration with surgical team, standards of care and departmental policies. Assesses and documents patient's physical, mental and emotional needs. Recognizes potential problems and abnormal findings and communicates to appropriate surgical team member. Documents nursing interventions and treatments along with patient response. Documents perioperative data accurately and appropriately. Anticipates needs of surgical team by correctly assembling needed supplies for each procedure according to surgeon preference card
