Department: OR (RN) *Certifications Required: BLS* PROFILE REVIEW+MANAGER INTERVIEW Candidates must be proficient in either Ortho/Neuro OR General/Robotics OR - GENERAL/ROBOTICS - # of Suites: 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite - Cases Per day: 25-30 cases on average - Common Cases: General/Robotics - Peds-Geriatrics, cysto, Davinci XI for General/GYN*/Urology, ION robotic cases, Open Bellies, endo/ GI experience- scope experience (ok with needing a resher) ION Robot, Davinci XI, Stryker towers - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 3 years of experience and experience with Open bellies, GYN, Davinci Xi for general, Endo - Is scrubbing required for RNs?: no - Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift?: Charge Nurse for all shifts 7a-11p M-F, weekends 7a-7p, manager until 4p M-F - OR techs?: Yes - EMR: EPIC - Shifts & Scheduling: 8hr 0645-1515; 0900-1730; Clinical supervisor makes the schedule - Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week 1515-0645 - Weekend/Call Requirements: based on staffing but approximately every 3-4 Fri 1515-Mon 0645 - Holiday/Call Requirements: Must be willing to work holidays- rotate with perm staff. - What is call response time? 15 minutes, 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call, sleep room available - housing should also be available nearby to make call - Floating Requirements: MUST be willing to float to cross train to other specialty cases if needed. MUST be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter or helping hands (and will get trained that day). If refused- considered supplimental time off, not getting paid- RDO day) Ability to pick up extra for 1:1 sitting; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3-4 days of hospital orientation and 4-5 days on the unit, 2 buddy call shifts - Additional Notes: This department has a family atmosphere.
