Description

Position: RN PACU
Location: California (Active CA RN license required)
Shift: 4x10 (08:00–18:30)
Weekend Requirement: 1–2 weekends every 6 weeks

Experience & Licensure:

Minimum 1 year RN experience; first-time travelers accepted with 2+ years relevant RN experience
Active CA RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Epic EMR experience
Patient recovery and monitoring post-procedures including:
- Biopsies: Liver, Kidney, Lung, Bone
- Ablations: Lung, Liver, Bone
- Drainages: Abscess, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis
Preparation for CT and MRI scans: IV starts, oral contrast administration
Point-of-care testing: ISTAT, Cholestech Lipid
Admissions and recovery management of procedural patients
