Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in outpatient surgery, primarily 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
May float to main Operating Room as needed.
On-call rotation required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Minimum 3 years of First Assist experience, including experience within the last year
Current CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Scrub color is flexible; scrubs provided for OR.
Facility requires completion of various health and facility-specific forms prior to start.
On-site photo for badge required (headshot with grey background).
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

This position is ideal for experienced RNFAs who meet the certification and licensure requirements and are comfortable working in a surgical outpatient setting with occasional float to main OR and on-call duties.
