  • Beds: 411
• General Information:
  • Beds: 26 ICU; include some negative pressure rooms
  • Experience? 2 years minimum in ICU
  • First-time traveler? Yes
• Patient Types:
  • Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, Interventional patients
  • ICP monitoring, External Ventricular drain (EVD), spinal precautions, DKA, Multi system trauma patients, Sepsis, ARDS, COVID, PNA, COPD, Stroke
• Patient Ratios:
  • 1:2 – based on acuity (may get 3rd patient as one is being discharged or moved to the floor)
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • PALS (preferred) – traveler may float to PICU if experienced and has PALS currently
• Skills required:
  • Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacity
  • Neuro and Trauma experience are an absolute must – EVD & ICP monitoring
  • Ventilator management, critical care drips, drain management, stroke experience, hemodynamic lines (A-lines/CVP), cardiac rhythm recognition, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, strong assessment skills
  • PICU experience (preferred but not required) – could float to this unit if experienced and there is a need – please let CRT know in offer email if traveler does have this experience
• Floating:
• To the Cardiac Care Unit (ICU) – will take patients within scope
• Cardiac Stepdown or Medical Stepdown
• PICU if they have Peds experience

• Scrub Color: Any solid color, must be professional
