2+ years of experience (firm), Travel experience (firm)
BLS, ACLS, NIH
AZ/Compact license
Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) - ED holding (for admitted pts holding in ED)-- as needed basis

• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Equipment: baxter pumps
• EHR: Medhost
• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR

I work in CVICU. The CV surgeon is one of the best I ever worked with considering this is a small hospital. I enjoyed working in CVICU as the unit put much confidence on my knowledge and skills looking after fresh open heart patients. The staff are travel nurse friendly.

Pros

I have worked with this company for 3, along with a few others, and they have been great! They seem to be very appreciative of their staff and always sending appreciative gifts to you. I can’t say much now that they have joined TotalMed, but am looking forward to see what develops.

Cons

Rates are not always the best, would be nice to have a few more eastern and southern state options, like Mississippi or North Carolina cities
