Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience supporting therapy services for diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care.
Implement treatment plans in accordance with established goals and patient needs.
Document patient progress accurately within the facility’s EMR or designated system.
Support patient independence and functional improvement through therapeutic activities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
Provide holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications

Active California COTA license (required).
Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Familiarity with Rehab Optima / NetHealth systems is strongly preferred.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Bilingual not required.
