Position Overview

We are seeking a Urology Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time locum assignment starting in July. The provider will work closely with a supervising physician throughout the week, supporting both inpatient and outpatient urology services. This role focuses on clinical care, rounding, and consults—no surgical assisting required.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday (5 days/week)
• 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Inpatient rounds, documentation, inbox
• 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM: Clinic + inbox management
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours/day
• No call required

Practice Details

• Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
• Patients per Shift: ~13
• EMR: Epic
• Privileges: Hospital privileges required (no temp privileges)
• Coverage Reason: Vacancy (Medical Leave)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient rounding and consults
• Manage outpatient urology clinic visits
• Review labs, imaging, and patient documentation
• Collaborate closely with supervising physician
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and inbox management

Requirements

• Active California PA License
• DEA Certification (CA)
• Urology experience required
• Surgical assist experience preferred (not required for this role)
• BLS & ACLS certifications preferred

• Provider must be comfortable managing both inpatient and outpatient cases
