Description
Title: RN Med Surg
Location: Fort Bragg, CA 95437
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (12*3)
Requirements:
Night Shift 19:00-07:30 , 36-per week; ACLS , BLS
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
Department Specific License/Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or RQIACLS: Required
Description:
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
This unit provides general acute care for a mix of both medical and surgical patients. This department's patient population should be no greater that 65% medical or 65% surgical. If your unit is an acute-care unit but does not fit this specific description, please contact FP&A to discuss other options.
