Full Time- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Fuzhounese Chinese Speaking

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Fuzhounese‑speaking Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP/NP) to provide high‑quality, culturally aligned primary care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive assessments, chronic and acute care management, and patient education while supporting linguistic and cultural needs specific to the Fuzhounese‑speaking community.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive primary care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Perform health assessments, physical exams, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Offer culturally sensitive communication, ensuring patients understand diagnoses and care plans in Fuzhounese when needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide preventive care, including screenings, immunizations, and patient education.
• Support clinic population health goals and quality metrics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Nurse Practitioner or FNP license in the state of employment.
• Board Certification (FNP preferred).
• Fluency in Fuzhounese Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is a plus but not required).
• Minimum 1 year NP experience preferred (new grads considered by some employers).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with Asian immigrant communities or multilingual patient groups.
• Familiarity with high‑volume outpatient clinic settings.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

HOURS & WORK TYPE

• Full‑time, part‑time, or per‑diem options depending on clinic needs.
