Description
Nuclear Med Tech needed in PET/CT. First two weeks training Monday-Friday 10:00-18:30 . Once trained, schedule will be 4-10H shifts, 0900-1930 (likely Monday-Thursday). 1 year of experience required at an academic medical center, preferably with PET/CT experience. No on call. ARRT (N) or CNMT required. Will need to obtain MA RT license if they do not have already. BLS-AHA required. The responsibilities include: venipuncture, glucometer operation, operation of Siemens Biograph CT 64, Medrad Intego automated injector, handling of unit doses of FDG, Posluma, Amyvid, Dotatate, Cerianna, DICOM push of images to MIM and McKesson PACS, scanning of documents, screening of patients prior to exam, proper cleaning of incubation rooms and camera after patient use, stocking of supplies in incubation room and hotlab, computer entry of charges for exam and verification of images on PACS system. Knowledge of and adherence to general radiation safety principles (ALARA) as well as USP<825>
