Description

ICU RN (Nights)

Schedule: 3x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks (ASAP start)
Facility: Level II Trauma Center (411 beds) – Bangor, ME

Unit Details:

26-bed ICU (includes negative pressure rooms)
Ratios: 1:2 (occasionally 1:3 during transitions)
High-acuity mixed ICU (medical, surgical, trauma, neuro, ortho)

Patient Population:

Trauma, stroke, sepsis, ARDS, DKA, COVID, COPD
Neuro cases (EVD, ICP monitoring), multi-system trauma

Requirements:

2+ years ICU experience (required)
Strong Neuro & Trauma experience (REQUIRED)
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
PALS preferred (for possible PICU float)
Vent management, critical drips, hemodynamic lines, chest tubes
