🏥 Job Summary – Cath Lab RN (Scrub Experience Required)

⏰ Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Additional: Includes on-call + late shifts

📅 On-Call & Scheduling Requirements

• 7 on-call shifts + 5 late shifts every 6 weeks
• 1 full weekend call (Fri–Sun) required per cycle
• Remaining weekday call shifts (Mon–Thurs) are flexible
• 1 Saturday shift (elective cases) required per 6 weeks
• Must be able to reach hospital within 30 minutes when on-call

📝 Other Requirements

• Charting System: Epic (required)
• Call-Off Policy: 1 shift allowed per 2 weeks
• Holiday: Must work/take call for 1 holiday per 13-week contract
• RTO: Must be submitted upfront
• ❌ First-time travelers not accepted
• ❌ Local candidates not accepted

📜 Licensing

• Any active or pending state license accepted
• Virginia offers temporary authorization while permanent license is processed

🏅 Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS

🫀 Clinical Skills Required

• Strong experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, including:
  • LHC, RHC, PCI, PTCA, stents, atherectomy
  • TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, Impella, IABP
• Must be able to scrub & circulate advanced procedures
• Skilled in:
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Sterile technique
• Experience with fluoroscopy + monitoring systems (Epic/Cupid/Xper)

🏨 Unit Details

• 6 procedure rooms
• Daily cases: 15–20 patients
• Patient population: Adult cardiac
• Common conditions:
  • Coronary artery disease
  • Heart failure
  • Valve disorders

🔬 Advanced Procedures & Equipment

• TAVR, MitraClip, LAA closures, thrombectomy
• Equipment: Impella, IABP, Shockwave, IVUS, OCT, Rotapro, laser
