Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel

Location: New Haven, CT
Shift: Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: 04/13/2026

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience (critical care required)
Active RRT certification
BLS and ACLS required
First-time travelers accepted

Preferred:

Trauma / Level I experience
Adult critical care ventilator experience
NICU / Pediatrics / ECMO exposure
Experience with Hamilton ventilators

Responsibilities:

Ventilator management (BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting, weaning)
ABG interpretation
Airway management and pulmonary hygiene
Administration of respiratory medications

Additional Details:

Floating required between nearby campuses
Every other weekend required
Block scheduling available
No on-call

Compensation:

Competitive pay package
