Job Overview:

We are actively hiring Medical Technologists (MT/MLS) for an awarded federal contract at a VA Medical Center in Fort Harrison, MT. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a stable government healthcare setting providing critical diagnostic services to veterans.
 

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical lab testing (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, etc.)
• Blood Bank Experience required- Mandatory
• Able to perform ABG (Arterial Blood Gas)- preferred, training will be provided.
• Analyze specimens and ensure accuracy of results
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Follow quality control and safety protocols
• Document results in laboratory systems
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with VA and regulatory standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field
Minimum 1-year recent clinical lab experience (within last 6 months)
Certification required: ASCP / AMT / AAB
BLS (AHA) required
Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
 

Compliance Requirements

• TB Test (TST/IGRA)
• MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu vaccines
• Hepatitis B vaccination
• Background checks: OIG & SAM clearance
• Updated resume + 3 references
