Direct Hire • Full-Time • Night Shift (3×12s)
Job Description
A leading, mission‑driven healthcare organization in Peoria, IL is seeking a full‑time MRI Technologist for a permanent night‑shift position. Position Overview
- Permanent, full‑time role
- 36 hours/week
- 3×12-hour night shifts: 7:00pm–7:30am
- Weekend & holiday rotation required
- May rotate to cancer center locations using state‑of‑the‑art imaging technology
- EMR/PACS navigation required
Compensation & Incentives
- Hourly rate: $36.39 – $47.63 (based on experience)
- Night shift differential: +$2.75/hr
- Sign‑On Bonus: $12,500

Shift Details
- Schedule:
- 3×12‑hour shifts
- Night shift: 7:00pm–7:30am
- Rotation: Weekends & holidays
- Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures following established protocols
- Position and prepare patients for exams
- Maintain accurate documentation within EMR/PACS
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and high-quality imaging standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams
- Maintain equipment and adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines
Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
Licensure / Certification
- BLS – American Heart Association
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- If not certified, must obtain within 1 year of hire
Skills & Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid computer proficiency
- Detail‑oriented with strong critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years radiography experience
- 1 year MRI experience
- ARRT (R)
