DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry (Stroke)
Location: Meriden, Connecticut
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week | Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
Experience with stroke patient care and neurological assessment.
Telemetry monitoring experience required.
EPIC charting experience required.
At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required.

Required Certifications & Licensure

Active and unrestricted Connecticut RN License (or Compact License).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification – 1 Year Certification Required (2-year certification will not be accepted).
