📌 Cardiac ICU RN – Contract Overview

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: 04/27/2026
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

⏱️ Weekly Hours Breakdown

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shifts per Week: 3 shifts (12 hours each)
• Total Weekly Schedule:
  • 3 × 12-hour shifts = 36 hours/week

👉 Important Notes:

• Orientation week hours are not guaranteed
• Facility allows up to 36 hours low census (unbillable) over contract
• During low census, traveler may be placed on call
• If called in → callback pay applies

📅 Scheduling Expectations

• Weekend Requirement: Every 2–3 weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun)
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
• On-Call: Optional (1-hour response time if accepted)

🔄 Floating

• Required to float across inpatient units
• Typically within critical care & acute care clusters

🏥 Unit Snapshot

• Unit: 12-bed Cardiac ICU (CICU)
• Patient Types:
  • Post-op cardiac cases
  • AMI, cardiogenic shock
  • Induced hypothermia
• Ratios:
  • 2:1 (CRRT)
  • 1:1 (Impella)

✅ Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years (cardiac ICU required)
• Skills: Swans, IABP, post-op hearts
• Certifications:
  • WI RN License
  • BLS, ACLS (CCRN preferred)
• Charting: EPIC preferred
