Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of direct CVOR experience required
  • Must have Cardiac OR experience
  • First-time travelers accepted
• Licensure:
  • Pending license accepted
• Certifications:
  • AHA BLS required
  • ACLS required (at time of submission)
  • NIHSS required (must obtain prior to start)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
  • Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)

Call & Scheduling Requirements

• On-Call Required (Cardiac Call):
  • 2–3 call days per week
  • Minimum 6 call shifts per month
  • May increase up to 10 shifts/month based on staffing
  • Includes:
    • 1 weekday call shift
    • 2 weekend call shifts (24-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours:
  • 36 hours for 3x12 shifts
  • 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Floating: Yes, within scope
• Block Scheduling: Not available

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to start call responsibilities after orientation
• Will assist with other cases if no CVOR cases
• Must complete time-sensitive modules promptly upon assignment confirmation

Work Policies

• Locals Accepted: Yes (same rate)
• RTO:
  • Must be submitted at time of application
  • Any additional RTO after submission likely will not be approved
• Smoke-Free Facility:
  • All travelers must be nicotine-free (no exceptions)
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen + Nicotine (cotinine) test required
