Location: NYC Area (JFK Airport, LaGuardia Airport, WTC Oculus)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Contract: 1 year with possible extension
Shift Includes: Port Authority holidays
Floating Required: Yes (JFK Airport, LaGuardia Airport, WTC Oculus)
Security: You will be provided Security Officers with you
Position Overview:
We are seeking one full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to support homeless outreach and referral services across major facilities in NY.
You’ll work closely with outreach teams and law enforcement to assess, diagnose, and support homeless individuals with mental health needs especially those resistant to services.
Work Locations:
· JFK International Airport
· LaGuardia Airport.
· World Trade Center (Oculus Transportation Hub)

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct mental health assessments for homeless individuals
· Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting
· Assist in placing individuals into appropriate care facilities
· Develop strategies to engage highly resistant homeless populations
· Participate in facility sweeps and document: Location, Type of incident, Time, Outcome
· Submit weekly reports
· Maintain accurate documentation of all services provided
Required Qualifications:
Education:
· Minimum BSN, with specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health
· PMHNP certification required
Licensure:
· Active NY or NJ RN License
· NP license where applicable
Certifications:
· PMH-BC™ or PMHNP-BC™ (ANCC)
Additional Mandatory Requirements
· Active DEA License
· Valid NPI Number
· Board Certification (copy required)
· Own Malpractice Insurance
· Sex Offender Background Clearance
