Job Description: Ratio: 1:1-2… 2 years of acute care experience required… First time travelers accepted… Holidays/Weekends: Every other… BLS ACLS NIH required… Travelers will float to all ICUs PACU ED for ICU holding patients and all IMC units… No block scheduling… Locals accepted… Patient Mix: Fresh hearts ventilated patients chest tubes and lumbar drains chronic and acute renal failure… Required Skills: CVICU experience with fresh open hearts such as CABG MVR AVR TAVR. Assist with BiPAP and CPAP chest tube insertion/removal assistance. 12 lead EKG Post Op Open Heart Recovery Swan FloTrac Temp Pacers A-lines vents Chest Tubes and must have experience with devices such as Impella IABP and CRRT using prismaflex May consider SICU experience with initial training in a CVICU... Shift Info: Night 3x12-Hour 19:00 - 07:30
