Shift: Days (Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM)
Hours: 40/week (Guaranteed)
Location: Ellsworth

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services Manager for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves overseeing daily operations of the OR, PACU, and Sterile Processing while leading a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Requirements

3–5+ years of OR leadership/management experience
BSN required
BLS & ACLS required (PALS preferred)
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Strong leadership, scheduling, and operational management skills

Key Responsibilities

Oversee OR, Pre-op/PACU, and Sterile Processing departments
Manage staff scheduling, workflow, and daily operations
Lead team meetings, huddles, and performance improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and leadership teams

Facility & Unit Highlights

64-bed hospital (staffed ~40 beds)
Oversee 4 ORs + 45–50 staff members
Diverse surgical cases (General, Ortho, ENT, Urology, OB/GYN)
Supportive leadership and experienced team

Schedule & Details

Monday–Friday schedule
No regular weekends or on-call (occasional calls possible)
Free parking & business casual dress code
