Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Assignment Type: Contract
Schedule: Weekends as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Chemotherapy Oncology. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in acute adult oncology, particularly in managing leukemia and lymphoma patients in an inpatient setting. This role requires adaptability, critical thinking, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy and BMT treatment
Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments in accordance with established protocols
Assess patient conditions, recognize complications, and respond appropriately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Float to other units as required based on staffing needs

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology experience (inpatient setting)
Experience with leukemia and lymphoma patient care
ASN (Associate Degree in Nursing)
BLS certification (AHA)
Active NJ State RN License or Multi-State Compact License
