Description
Travel RN – Select Medical LTAC
- Shift: Days, 3x12s
- Contract: 13 weeks | 36 hrs/week guaranteed
- Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience preferred
- Active RN license
- BLS required; ACLS required for CIRH units
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing assessments & develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)
- Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and orientees; delegate tasks appropriately
- Initiate discharge planning and patient/family teaching
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EMR
- Communicate changes in patient status to team and physicians
- Ensure personal and environmental safety, adhering to hospital policies
- Participate in team building and maintain positive work environment
- May assume charge responsibilities after orientation
- Setting: LTAC / rehabilitation unit
