Position Overview

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care environment. This role guarantees 36 hours per week and requires a therapist experienced in providing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing interventions to adult and elderly populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and swallow evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy focused on communication disorders, swallowing difficulties, and cognitive deficits
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and strategies

Shift & Schedule

• Day Shift
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly
• No holiday coverage required

Qualifications

• Active State SLP License (must be valid at time of start)
• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and/or Long-Term Care preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
