Description
Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS AHA or ARC
• Minimum Experience: 2 years. Trauma level II experience highly preferred.
• Charting Experience: EPIC required..
• Unit Information: MAP Unit Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics travelers do not take Peds patients). The major conditions/most frequent diagnoses treated: Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal. Typical patient ratios on days 1:4-5 and on nights 1:6-7
• Desired skillset: Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible. Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shift.
