Description: The Radiation Therapist applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for helping in the efficient operation of the radiation department and ensuring safe patient care.  Setting: Clinic Location: Schaumburg (Radiation Therapist will train at Lisle Clinic before moving to Schaumburg, Full-Time) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks (Likely Extension &amp; opportunity to go on internally) Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Weekends) Shift:<ul><li>7:30am – 4:00pm OR 6:30am – 3:00pm (Same hours for both Schaumburg and Lisle)</li></ul>Special Notes:<ul><li>Start at Lisle clinic for first week or two • Rest of contract will be at the Schaumburg clinic</li><li>Facility is able to take Radiation Therapist on internally after a total of 20 weeks on assignment. </li><li>Facility would ideally like the Radiation Therapist to go on internally after 20 weeks on assignment.</li></ul>
