Travel RN Opportunity – Emergency Department

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Position Details

Specialty: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
Weekend Requirement: Two weekends per 4-week schedule
Call Requirements: None

Department: Emergency Department (1st Floor)
Trauma Level: IV
Number of Beds: 20
Patient Population: Neonates, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Ratios:
- ESI 1, 2, & Horizontal 3s – 4:1
- ESI Vertical 3s, 4, & 5 – 7:1
Electronic Health Record (EHR): MedHost

Requirements

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

No float or call requirements
Dress code allows any scrub color; t-shirts or clothing with other facility logos are not acceptable
High acuity emergency department environment
