Description
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Contract Length Weeks: 12.71
Minimum Experience: 2 years of total LD, 1 year must be LDRP
Certifications: BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring
Skills required:
Strong LD experience: Needs to do cervical exams, antepartum and labors, amnio infusions: Epidurals, Fetal Monitoring, IVs, Pitocin
Post-Partum Experience: Need to be comfortable with all aspects of post-Partum care from transition to discharge for mom and baby.
Circulate C sections (required)
Scrub experiencepreferred.
Baby catching/receiving (required)
APGAR
Breastfeeding knowledge

EMR: EPIC
Beds: 20 total; 12 LD, 8 pp/ap (3 OB/ED rooms, 2 OR); 6 bed level II NICU
Weekend rotation: Every other
Scrubs: Teal scrubs are provided
Notes: NP on call; Russian/Spanish population- multilingual (preferred)
